There
were news reported that up to 5 million Gmail user names and
passwords were published to a Russian Bitcoin forum but Google said
that it doesn't think that it was the result of a security problem at
its end. Automattic, which operates hosted blogging service
WordPress.com, has said it has taken precautionary measures to secure
thousands of its own accounts.

The
company said the Gmail security breach is not connected to WordPress
and it has already reset 100,000 accounts that use the same password
as the associated Gmail addresses as a pre-emptive measures.
